SCEA René Renon Château La Galiane

SOUSSANS

Description

5 hectares of centures-old vines thrive in typical soils, rich in gravel and sands
Located in Soussans, in the heart of the Margaux appellation and only a few kilometres from Bordeaux, Chateau Galiane and Chateau Le Charmant have belonged to the same family for five generations.
La Galiane is named after an English general, Galian, who occupied part of Aquitaine in the 15th century.
Today, the Renon family cultivates 5 hectares of centures-old vines, which thrive in typical soils, rich in gravel and sands.
Visitors enjoy tasting the property's deep, ruby-red wines, produced in the image of both region and chateau. The taste is magnificent: a fine bouquet of aromas, with harmonious, elegant, fruity notes.
The two chateaus are inextricably linked, with finesse on one hand and force on the other. Christiane Renon is only too happy to talk visitors through the differences.
