Located at the port of Lamarque, with magnificent views of the Gironde Estuary, the Medoc Estuary Tourist Information Point is open from Wednesday 3 May to Saturday 30 September 2017.

To help you make the most of your stay, we offer:
– Advice and practical information
– Information about the Medoc, including maps and guides such as the Medoc Estuary “Trails of Discovery” map, and a list of local walks and cycle rides.
– An agenda of events and festivals organised in the Medoc and on the Estuary
– Free WiFi, without a password
– A children’s play area with wooden toys and locally themed colouring books
– Baby facilities: a changing table and a microwave for heating baby food
– Toilets

– PEAK SEASON: open from May to September
– May, June and September: open from Wednesday to Sunday (including bank holidays) from 9.30am to 1pm, and from 2pm to 5.30pm (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays)
– July and August: open every day from 9am to 6pm (including bank holidays)

– OFF SEASON: closed from October to March

To reach the Tourist Information Point
– Roads: D2 direction Pauillac or D1 direction Le Verdon

To reach the Medoc Estuary
– Train: stations at Bordeaux St Jean, Ludon-Médoc, Macau, Margaux
– Plane: Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport
– Motorway and ring road (Rocade): Exit 7 at Blanquefort or Exit 8 at Le Taillan Médoc
– Roads: D2 direction Pauillac or D1 direction Le Verdon
– Boat: Blaye-Lamarque Ferry
