Although occasionally decked out for popular dance parties (accordionists and musical groups appear regularly), the cooking alone is enough to recall the Médoc's traditional love of food and festivities. The view of the île verte, and the taste of the fresh seafood on offer are a delight: whole sea bass and sea bream grilled à la plancha, king prawns flambéed in whisky, freshly caught prawns from the estuary, eels garnished with parsley and garlic. The meat is just as delicious, and always perfectly prepared: duck confit, leg of lamb... a perfect way to end the day!
